School uniform

We expect children to look smart in school and our policy is for all children to wear school uniform. This includes grey skirts, trousers or shorts, a white shirt or blouse and a maroon sweatshirt or cardigan. Summer uniform for girls can include a gingham or candy stripe dress. Sweatshirts, cardigans and polo shirts are available from the school. Girls should not wear shoes with high heels. Hair should be neat, tidy and well groomed.

For PE and games we think it is healthy and hygienic that children should change into a kit. We sell a maroon PE polo shirt and black shorts. In the hall children work barefoot but for outside games, children will need trainers and possible additional clothing for winter months. We do not encourage children to wear jewellery to school. Where earrings are worn these should be small studs and must be removed for all games, PE and swimming lessons.

Please make cheques payable to Melbourn Primary School PTFA

We aim to ensure that stocks of all sizes of uniform are available to purchase when required however, at peak times, such as the start of term, there may be a delay of up to 3 weeks. Any delays will be advertised on PTFA noticeboards.
